As we're certain you've already heard, after winning the Illinois primary on March 20, the following day Mitt Romney's Communications Director Eric Fehrnstrom went on CNN, and made a massive Freudian slip:

Of course, everyone jumped on this latest gaffe, on the left, and the right. It was good news for the Ohio Art Company, who makes the Etch A Sketch - but it hasn't exactly been great news for Mitt. We tend to agree with those like Greg Sargent and Robert Reich - even if Mitt does get into the White House, he won't be able to hide from his primary self. We're no longer in an Etch A Sketch world.

Unsurprisingly, Rick Santorum found a way to make this Romney gaffe even worse for Republicans, when he said that if Republican voters were going to choose Mitt Romney over himself that America, "...might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch-A-Sketch candidate of the future.”

For once, we agree with Rick.
