At this point, if you can't laugh at the hypocrisy of some people in the "news" on important issues like fuel prices, you'd probably be in tears all the time.
So many of the talking heads keep ignoring the facts on energy, like the fact that under the policies of President Obama, American oil production is at an eight-year high, or that more oil was exported from the U.S. in 2011 than at any time since 1949.
They even laugh at ideas like algae as an energy souce - an idea Newt Gingrich himself supported not that long ago. They even laugh at Bill Gates, one of the most brilliant investors in technology in history, who has invested heavily in algae for fuel.
Even Exxon/Mobil has invested in algae for fuel.
None of these facts matter though, to the fact-free "news" folks over at Fox - and they didn't matter in 2008 when the folks at Fox were insisting that the actions of President Bush had nothing to do with the cost of fuel.
Of course, those Fox News staffers might want to talk to their more current co-workers, who want to blame the increase in the cost of fuel on... President Obama.

Please - wake up on who's telling you the truth, and who's not.
