Sometimes, Team Randi just thinks it might be better for Mitt Romney's chances in the 2012 election if he didn't say another word, from now until the election. Because almost every time he opens his mouth, he contradicts something that he said previously.
Take the blowup over "MommyGate" - the reaction to comments made by CNN contributor Hillary Rosen.
Mitt Romney and his campaign took Hillary Rosen's comments out of context, and rushed to defend Ann Romney's honor as a stay at home mother. Ann Romney herself came out to denouce Hillary Rosen's comments:
Even if the Federal government doesn't agree with Ann Romney that raising children is real work, President Obama joined Ms. Romney in denouncing Ms. Rosen's comments.
Sadly, the one person who doesn't agree with Ann Romney - and does agree with the Federal government, that some mothers should be required to work outside the home?
That's Mitt Romney.
If that's not enough, Mitt has ALWAYS thought that poor women should be working outside the home, instead of at home, working on taking care of their kids:
So once again, the person who disagrees with Mitt Romney the most?
It's Mitt Romney.
