It's Presidents' Day, ya bastids! Randi's out today, but Nicole Sandler's filling in with a packed show, including some great topics and informed guests...

Since it's a holiday Nicole's starting the day with a recap of news from the weekend and a fun look into the future with the legendary mentalist The Amazing Kreskin.

She'll then turn to some more serious topics—the sequester and the minimum wage hike—and spend some time separating fact from fiction with Forbes columnist Rick Ungar.

Over the weekend, the largest climate rally in history happened in Washington, DC, with many of the 35,000 protestors focused on the Keystone XL pipeline. Julia Trigg Crawford is a Texas resident fighting TransCanada's attempt to use eminent domain to grab her land—she'll join Nicole and provide an update on her fight, a battle being joined by both liberals and libertarians.

Speaking of energy, Tyson Slocum, the director of the advocacy group Public Citizen will detail the Sanders-Boxer climate protection bill, which could put a real crimp in the bullying of big energy corporations like TransCanada.

Finally, writer & political activist Howie Klein of Down With Tyranny! will call in and relay how, with the help of solar panels, his local power company actually pays him for his electricity—and how you could do the same thing.
