Randi's on vacation, but Nicole Sandler's back today to cover the latest news, and continue the year-end wrap-up.

Today, at the same time the NRA's Wayne LaPierre was giving one of the weirdest and most disturbing speeches about guns ever given, four more people were shot and killed along along a rural Pennsylvania highway.  Nicole will have Cliff Schecter of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, back on the show to discuss today's bizarre NRA press conference, the shooting in Pennsylvania, and what possibility there is for real gun safety reform.

Nicole will also cover another one of the Top Ten Topics of 2012, the Year in LGBT, with syndicated columnist and democratic strategist Karl Frisch.

And comedian and Current TV Host John Fugelsang will be on to talk about the holidays... Christmas, Hannukkah, Festivus, and the Mayan end of the world, which didn't actually happen. Yet.
